Secret of the Dance recounts the story of retired BC judge, Alfred Scow, who remembers as a boy in the 1930s, witnessing his parents and other adults secretly participating in the Potlatch, a cultural event practiced by many first nations cultures along the BC coast, and banned by the government at the time.
